Since the formation of CAMTHORNE INDUSTRIAL RUBBER SERVICES LTD in 1978, for the manufacture of Rubber Gaskets, Sealing Strip, Washers, Pads and sheeting, we have maintained a policy of total service to customers.

Our policy of continual reinvestment in plant and equipment, combined with the skills of our work force, ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest quality and efficiency. Camthorne have successfully achieved  and work to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.

We are able to prduce items from the smallest of washers, in awide range of materials including Rubber, Cork, CNAF, Sponge and Non-Asbestos Products.

Our engineering plastics department offers a rapid turnround for cut parts if required.

Camthorne also supply a wide range of industrial products including Hoses, Ductings, Hydraulics, Castors, Webbing Tapes, Extrusions, Packings, Couplings, Hose Clips, Fittings and many more.

Our Ceramics division are manufacturers and suppliers of Bespoke Quality Rubber and Foam Products including: Hand Sponges, Glaze Footwiping Belts, Jar Seals, Air Filtration Foam, Reticulated Foams, Fish Filter Foams, Polyethylene Foam ( for ware boards, coverings etc.) Upholstery Foams - Flame Retardant.

To compliment the above we offer a wide range of ancillary products including: Potters Tools, and Kidney / rectangular pallets - available in various sizes and thickness's casting Guns, Mould Natches etc.

  BRUSSELS (Feb. 3, 2012)—The European Union General Court has rejected appeals by DuPont Co., Dow Chemical Co., and Denki Kagaku Kogyo K.K. against fines imposed by the EU for their participation in a cartel to fix prices of polychloroprene rubber.
