Choosing The Shape

PLAIN is the most commonly used shape for general graphics and textiles. Can be used on a variety of substrates with a wide range of inks. The holder needs to be set at the right angle.

DKE gives excellent control when printing on cylindrical substrates. The DK-LAND version gives good control of printing angle.

SK is used extensively in container printing. Gives good adaptation to irregular surfaces and good ink deposit control. DIAMOND is used for very close control of the squeegee angle. Shows very little bending under pressure.

Solvent Resistance

The Ulon squeegee is excellent for use in Solvent based inks. These inks are harsh on squeegees causing swelling and rapid deterioration. The Ulon material shows excellent resistance against these solvents due to its chemical composition. Water based inks and the plastisol have little effect on Ulon.

Hardness Grades

The Ulon range of squeegees are available in 5 deg. Shore A hardness bands. This close control of hardness guarantees the printer repeatable performance. The wide range of grades available ensures that every printing solution is covered.

Fine Printing Edges

The unique manufacturing process of Ulon produces a homogeneous material structure with no trapped air. This when cut with our unique blades, produces a fine printing with no defects.

Abrasion Resistance

The unique Ulon material offers excellent wear and tear resistance which means the printing edge will be maintained well in excess of standard squeegees.

Sizes Available

The Ulon range is available in a wide selection of blade width and height to suit all requirements. Special sizes can be made on request. The standard blade length is 3350 mm for Plain and 3200 mm for 'D' or 'S' Cut.
