Camthorne can supply sleeving, braided from ceramic fibre yarns, reinforced with either inconel or glass filament o improve the tensile strength at high temperatures.
Ceramic fibres are suitable for use at temperatures up tro 1260c dependent on application.They are resistant to most chemicals except phosphoric acid,hydrofluoric acid and strong alklias.They are non-combustable, have a low thermal conductivity and are resistant to thermal shock.

MILAN, Italy (Sept. 3, 2010)—Pirelli Tyre S.p.A. has elected to not compete next year in the World Rally Championship, where it was the exclusive race tire supplier for the past three seasons, but the company said it expects to be active in rally racing in some form or another.
