Description

This Vulcan VR3 packing is self-lubricating, and offers high chemical resistance over a wide temperature and pH range. Constructed from 100% Grafan yarns. this expanded graphite packing offers truly exceptional capabilities and performance. Under compression in the gland, VR3 die-forms into packing rings- this eliminates the requirement for ribbon tape around valve stems, and the need for individual sizes of separate die-formed rings. The need for fewer packing components therefore ensures a great cost saving over the lifetime of the product. This packaging material can simply be cut to length and spiralised into the gland (there is no need for individual cut rings).
