Rubber matting is made from SBR/NR blended rubber compound at 70° shore hardness to provide a robust, hard-wearing covering that can withstand vibration, impact and repetitive foot traffic. All rubber has antislip & waterproof properties and can be fixed to many surfaces using contact adhesives as long as the area is dry and clean.
We offer a vast range of mattings for industrial, commerical and agricultural applications such as ribbed, penny/stud, checker plate, pebble, griptop, stable & electrical. These are available in a multitude of widths and thicknesses such as 914mm – 1.5m wide / 1m – 10m length / 3mm – 9.5mm thick and can be cut to any shape or size.
Ribbed , penny/stud, checker plate mattings are general purpose mats used in a wide range of applications such as domestic flooring, kennels, load liners for cars, pet cages, tool box lining, anti fatigue warehouse mats, gym equipment, gym floors, entrance matting, bench & worktop protector. The uses of these style are endless and with the added benefit of being easy to cut; using a sharp stanley knife and a straight edge they can be cut on site or at home.
Griptop, Stable & EVA mats are used in the Equestrian industry for lining out stable floors, walls & ramps. Griptop matting is the ideal mat to be used on horse ramps due to its lightweight but extremley durable & hardwearing construction. The ‘griptop’ face provides excellent grip, even in wet condtions. Stable mats are a heavier duty rubber mat which are designed to be used on the floor in a stable or in a horsebox, these have a bobble top and a wide groove on the bottom to help with drainage. These measure 6ft x 4ft x 17mm thick (1.8m x 1.2m) and weigh 45kg meaning when these are laid down they won’t budge even under stress from heavy objects. EVA mats measure 6ft x 4ft x 10mm thick (1.8m x 1.2m) but are made from a high density foam which makes them light and ideal to be used on stable or horsebox walls. These protect any surface from a ‘kickout’ and are easy to install and replace.
Electrical safety rubber matting is primarily used in high voltage environments such as control rooms or in front of switchboards. We stock 11KV (6mm) & 15KV (9.5mm) in 10m x 1m rolls and this can be cut down to any size to suit customer needs. Electrical matting has a ribbed effect on the top and a fine cloth finish on the reverse.
