Acetal is a tough thermoplastic material with high physical strength, rigidity and excellent impact resistance
Acetal sheet has excellent machinability properties making it easy to machine and is commonly used in white for food contact applications. It has a low water absorption and has a high resistance to a variety of chemicals and has got good sliding properties and wear resistance. Applications include; Machine parts, gears, guide and seals, friction bearings, insulators and kneading elements.
