Acrylic (Perspex) sheet is not suitable for applications that require high impact strength but it does have excellent UV resistance and is resistant to some weak acids and alkalis
This can can be fabricated and formed and is easy to machine, polish cut and drill. This material is commonly used in signage and display applications due to its wide spread of colours available.
