PTFE rod is a premium performance engineering plastic with excellent resistance to water, gases, oils, fuels and chemicals and is also very capable of operating at very high and low temperatures
PTFE rod has superb electrical insulating properties and a very low coefficient of friction and is often used in food contact applications. It can be difficult to bond and isn’t suitable for wear applications. PTFE rod can be used for slide bearings, insulators and rollers.
