This mandrel built radiator hose is suitable for delivering hot water and anti-freeze in cooling systems
The branding on the hose is ‘Heater hose SAE J20 R3 class D-1 WP 10 bar’. With also the month & year of manufacture embossed. The hose cover is a smooth CR/NBR rubber cover which is weather, abrasion and oil resistant. Also this has a smooth bore with an EPDM liner making it suitable for ethylene glycol solutions. The high tensile strength textile ply reinforcement allows working pressures up to 10 bar, with a safety factor of at least 3:1. The working temperature of this hose is -25°c to + 125°c and peaks at 140°c.
